My baby making journey started after not getting pregnant for a year on my own without any contraception. I had always had a cycle that was erratic.

I came to Dr. Spence after having a stillborn baby in 2009. I never considered TCM or acupuncture before and didn’t even know that it would help me (and frankly was terrified of needles!).

I found it to be relaxing and calmed me down a little. I was super nervous as not knowing what the outcome is going to be in a few weeks time especially since I have had treatment done many times and have been unsuccessful so thought I would give accupuncture a try as it is supposed to help with blood flow and all.

After 6 rounds of Clomid and a failed IVF cycle, I explored the option of IVF acupuncture for my second IVF cycle. Having acupuncture on my embryo transfer day gave me the confidence that my body and mind were at their epitome of relaxation.

I personally didn’t enjoy the pre treatment, but only because I was so anxious about the embryo transfer that I found that I couldn’t relax.

When I first heard about a new acupuncture service on site at PCRM, I was so glad because of a convenience. I had a really great relaxing experience on the day of embryo transfer.

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have had the onsite treatments, before and after my embryo transfer. The calming, stress free enviroment helped me relax before the transfer and my treatment after made me feel as though I had done everything I could in order to achieve success.

It was so convenient to have the procedure done on site and i couldn’t get over how relaxed i was coming out of my appointment.
