Lara Tisseur

Sean Quigley
Clinical Director

Lara graduated from the International College for Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver where she completed the three-year Acupuncture Diploma program. Lara is a registrant of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA).

She is a Registered Acupuncturist with an interest and passion in reproductive health, facial rejuvenation, pain management and other health concerns and conditions.

She enjoys helping patients achieve wellness by discovering the patient’s unique needs, primary issues and areas of imbalance. She balances the body using acupuncture and other Traditional Chinese therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, electro stimulation acupuncture (EA), facial rejuvenation, tuina and auricular acupuncture. Lara aims to set newcomers to acupuncture at ease by explaining the process in a language that you can understand. A huge believer in work-life balance, she derives tremendous satisfaction from helping patients achieve their own health goals that will ultimately improve their overall quality of life.

Lara has integrated holistic medicine and health in her life from an early age. She was raised in the Caribou region of Interior BC, where her experiences in nature were every day and her gratitude towards natural balance and healing grew. Lara’s passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) grew out of her own personal experiences during pregnancy with TCM over 15 years ago when she was pregnant with a breech baby. TCM helped to turn her breech baby and also started a profound interest and journey into Chinese Medicine. She studied environmental studies at SFU before gaining an invaluable appreciation of the medical philosophy surrounding Eastern culture.

Lara enjoys spending her weekends outdoors hiking, enhancing her yoga practice, her newfound love of oil painting, spending time with her friends and most of all spending time with her teenage son.

She is honored and excited to join the team of dedicated, effective practitioners at Yinstill Reproductive Wellness.
