Acupuncture can reduce Cholesterol

Keeping an eye on our cholesterol levels is essential for heart health and overall blood flow. While cholesterol is essential for bodily functions, too much of the wrong kind is bad. It comes in different forms in our body: low-density lipoproteins (LDL), which are sticky and clog our arteries,

When I became pregnant with my first child, 12 years ago, I knew very little about nutrition. I really believed that I was ‘eating for two’ and that I had an excuse to eat whatever I wanted,

Maple Walnut Granola

Guest post by Krista A. Parr, R.H.N.

Granola is such a great breakfast because it’s quick and convenient while also providing so much more nutrition than boxed cereal. Even many store-bought granolas can taste overly sweet and be loaded with sugar and fillers.

This is the growth of great medicine

Women and couples come to me at various stages of their journey to conception. Sometimes they have been trying for years and others they are just starting out. While conceiving naturally is everyone’s first choice, alternatives that garner the same results, a baby, should not be overlooked.

Guest post by Krista A. Parr, R.H.N.

While it isn’t necessary to cut out coffee completely while trying to conceive, it is generally recommended that women limit themselves to a cup a day. Many women choose to ‘quit’ coffee while preparing for pregnancy for a variety of reasons,

PrintSend by emailPDF

BMI(ボディ・マス・インデックス)ってご存知ですか?

Breast Lumps and Traditional Chinese Medicine

PrintSend by emailPDF

Breast diseases which are benign (not cancerous) include fibrocystic disease (lumps, fibroids and cysts), fibroadenomas, breast pain (referred to in western medicine as mastalgia), and abnormal nipple discharge. Although not malignant by definition, these conditions can be at worst very uncomfortable to bear, and at best an indicator that something in the body as a whole (and the breasts in particular) is out of balance.
